About our Programs

International Law Programs at UC Davis Extension

UC Davis Extension, in partnership with the School of Law at the University of California, Davis, offers quality legal and educational programs that combine a theoretical and practical approach to U.S. and international law. The programs have been endorsed by the International Law Section of the State Bar of California and California Continuing Education of the Bar.

Who Should Take our Courses

Our courses are designed for lawyers, judges, law professors and pre-LL.M. students who want to learn about theories and practices of the U.S. legal system. Knowledgeable practitioners and business professionals also enroll in the programs to learn about complex business and legal transactions. Many of our courses are open to any legal professional, with no entrance requirements or formal admission process.

For those interested in pursuing formal graduate studies, the 10-month LL.M. Program and the part-time summer International Commercial Law LL.M. provide unique opportunities for qualified applicants to study at the UC Davis School of Law either on a full-time or part-time basis. Graduates of these degrees have gone on to sit for the bar examinations in New York and California.
